Barn Hunt

Barn Hunt is the new and quickly growing dog sport catching fire across the country! Barn Hunt is based on the traditional roles of many breeds in ridding farms, barns, crop storage areas, and homes of destructive vermin. Some breeds were specifically created to fill this role, and for many of those breeds, Barn Hunt provides their first true opportunity for responsible breeders to test proper working traits in their dogs. Barn Hunt is also open to any dog of any breed or mix who wishes to play the game and can fit through an 18" wide by bale-height tall tunnel. Barn Hunt has titles, levels of increasing difficulty.

Barn Hunt is an independent sport, but titles are recognized by both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and United Kennel Club (UKC).

Barn Hunt is committed to creating a safe and fun sport for dogs, that also holds rat care at the highest level of consideration. The rats used in Barn Hunt are often beloved family pets. They jump eagerly into their safe, comfortable aerated tubes and truly enjoy interacting with the dogs.

Suzy Wyckoff Horsemanship

Mystic Meadows Training is a family owned and operated horse training and riding facility located in beautiful Pinckney Michigan. We specialize in gaited horse training and teaching the rider to be able to ride the gaited horses properly. Instructors Ms. Suzy and Ms. Heather make sure their students have a fabulous time learning all aspects of riding starting with the basic horse care every rider needs to know. We have many years of experience teaching riders of all ages and abilities. From showing in the competition ring to taking a nice fall ride through the woods we cover all your riding needs.

Our horse teaching staff includes Tennessee Walking Horses and Rocky Mountain Horses who all preform their own individual unique gaits. This sets our program into its own category in the fact that these breeds do a smooth gait verses a trot as most lesson programs provide. We feel that these gaited horses have all the opportunity to teach you everything any horse can teach, but with out all the bounce.

Come by our booth to meet two of our Tennessee Walking Horses, Neka and Trace. And introduce yourselves to Ms. Suzy, Ms. Heather and the other Mystic Meadows Family. We would love the chance to introduce you to the world of the gaited horse!

Tori Bancroft Horsemanship

Tori’s fascination with horses began almost as soon as she could walk. Her dream came true at the age of 10 with her first pony, Ladybug. During her years with horses, Tori has taken advantage of a variety of riding disciplines from Saddleseat to Reining, and training opportunities. She was active in 4H, earning her way to State Finals. In MIHA, earning the title of State Champion, and numerous high point awards.

In 2014, she thought her dreams were finished due to a riding accident. For 2 years she didn’t ride. Working through panic attacks and PTSD, she rediscovered her passion for a true connection with her horse. This quest for connection brought back her love of the almighty pony. The Tori and Bravo team was formed.

Tori believes everyone should have a safe horse to share their life with. She is unwavering in her commitment to excellence in ground manners that provide a safe environment for both horse and rider. Liberty Horsemanship is the perfect picture of this.

Tori and Bravo had an incredible 2019. They connected with dozens of 4H members, taught many one on one sessions, competed in POA Worlds and brought home a 3rd in her division as well as winning the Ranch Riding division at the Michigan Open Horse Championships.

Tori’s goal is to be the person she needed growing up so she continues her education, learning from leaders in the horse industry.
